On the 24th Feb 2010 Cassy was put to sleep after her back legs gave up on her. The vet thinks she must have had a stroke. At 15 yrs old she was too old and ill to be put through any tests, so the decision was made.
Cassy belonged to my friend Joan, who, bless her, could not do the final deed. Because Cassy was her husbands dog and the last connection to him ( he died 3yrs ago) She asked if I would stay with her.
This I did and Cassy fell asleep peacefully in my arms.
Run free with your Jack.
Bless you Cassy.

Marlene

Run free at the Bridge, Cassy.
How kind of you Marlene to stay with Cassy.

It must have been a comfort to Joan to know you were there.

So sorry to hear about Cassy, a wonderful age but a very difficult decision to make, bless you Marlene for being there for her and Joan.

Goodnight God bless Cassy, sleep tight

Sorry to have missed your post, try to just peep at R.B. for obvious reasons.
What a gracious act on your part, so kind of you. May Cassy be in peace and run free with all our friends....
