Is she managing to drink anything between being sick?
I think it might be worth ringing the vet's for advice in the morning if she is still unwell. Give her a hug from me.

Hi Melitta,
thats the strange thing,, she is drinking though its big drinks and since I stopped the meds in order to give her system a rest she is so much brighter,,,,I will ring vet but to be honest part of me feels they have added to her plight,,,,, its all this modern technology and they have lost the basics..I feel if she can have afew days of keepin food down than she will be ok,,,I do recognise that she will need to go back her meds as the pain will kick back in,,, ah its perplexing but wanting the best for her k |

Kay, perhaps phone the vet (better still a different one than you have seen) for advice?
Tigger used to dehydrate very quickly even though he appeared to be drinking so watch out carefully for that.
HOpe Maisie is her usual self soon.

Poor Maisie. I have heard that mashed potato helps settle tummies, but I've not tried it. Apparently boiled rice can make things worse.

| hi Girls.. thanks so much for your concern,, its lovely... she has been sick just once today and just a tiny amount,, so fingers crossed that or is it paws crossed that nothing appears tonight,if so its back to the vet,I am convinced its been the tramadol,, she has no meds for a few days so they should be out her stomach,, if she isnt sick later I will gradually reintroduce the other stuff but not the tramadol,,, my friend is going to give her some accupunture so that should help with pain,,she seems very bright, which is good news,,,will keep you posted..kx |

I would go for seraquin first that should be ok, but does take time to work. Still would consult vet about Previcox - didnt agree with our Tigger at all.
Hoping Maisie stays well.
