Woof Beginnings was established to raise funds for, and raise
awareness of ALL independent dog rescues supporting ANY
breed.
Currently, we operate from Southport, but have members living across the UK and
Europe.
Our aims are simple. We represent our members’ desire to find forever homes for
dogs who find themselves in need of loving homes and to raise funds for rescue
organisations who may be facing financial difficulties in caring for these
dogs.
We raise awareness by doing several things:
- We encourage independent dog rescue organisations to advertise their dogs for
rehoming.
- We promote the public awareness of dogs who have been waiting long-term for
forever homes.
- We provide and maintain a central electronic network of links to all our
registered dog rescue organisations.
- We provide and maintain current information on volunteers who are prepared to
offer their services for the transportation of rescued dogs, home-checking of
prospective forever homes and other dog-related services.
- We provide and maintain details of current legislation which relates to dog
ownership.
- We promote services which are considered vital to the health and wellbeing of
dogs and dog ownership.
