Use of the Forum

We try to maintain a friendly site, with people coming together for advice, support and a bit of light hearted fun. However there are times when members may have differing opinions. We urge members to respect this and enjoy healthy debate. With a community of this size, it is necessary to lay down a few ground rules to ensure the smooth running for the enjoyment of all :-
  • Posts of an offensive or inappropriate manner will be deleted, as will any offensive image posted on the site.
  • Personal attacks will also be removed. Discussion is good - insults are not.
  • There are young visitors to this site. Offensive language and swearing will be removed.
  • Advertising of business without prior permission from Woof Beginnings is not allowed.
  • Personal attacks on other members made by forum post, Private Message, or email sent from the site will not be tolerated
  • Any content of an adult nature posted on the site will not be tolerated.
  • All content on these forums is offered by owners of dogs. They are relating their experiences with their own pets. Whilst we hope this information helps people, it is not offered as advice to be used independently of professionally trained people. Before embarking on any course of treatment, we strongly advise seeking the advice of a fully trained vet/professional. All dogs are different. What works for one may not work for yours, and may well conflict with any treatment your pet is currently receiving.
If a persistent offender is identified, and they have not acted in accordance with warning emails they will be sent, we reserve the right to lock their account, and remove their ability to access the site. Our aim is to ensure that this site remains safe and enjoyable for its members and visitors. ALL activity on this site will reflect on the site, the administration team, and the organisation. Because of this we must enforce these simple rules. We reserve the right to amend these rules as may become necessary in the future. Should they be amended, a post will be placed in the forum to notify users of the change.

Now for some security advice. We strongly advise that you don't put any personally identifiable information in your posts. This includes addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. Unfortunately we can't guarantee who is looking at this site, and not all people who view it will have "honourable" intentions. We also suggest that you do not post pictures of your children. Whilst well intentioned, you don't know who is looking. Try to avoid using your email address as you user name. It will be displayed on all your posts. If you spot any abuse of these message boards, it can be reported to webmaster@pleasehelpourdogs.co.uk.

Now - go and enjoy the boards
